Noah Smith was born and raised in rural North Carolina. From an early age he decided he either wanted to be a farmer or an artist. Only the latter was pursued. Noah developed many techniques through studying with, or working for many prominent local artists such as Charles Wolfe, Ron Ridgeway, Pete Hinton, and Tommy Lee Edwards. He attended high school at the North Carolina School of the Arts, and went on to study illustration at the Ringling School of Art and Design. After school, most time was spent touring with his band The B-sides. Currently Noah lives in Pittsboro, NC, and plays guitar and sings with The Never.
